Política de privacidad
Última actualización: 7 de septiembre de 2026
This policy describes what Da Wang HiHi® does with your information when you use this website. It is written to be read, not to be got past. If anything here is unclear, write to info@dawanghihi.com and a person will answer.
The short version
We do not run advertising on this site. We do not use analytics or tracking scripts of any kind. We do not sell, rent or share your information, and we do not build profiles of you. The only third-party script the site loads is Stripe’s, on the checkout page, so that your card details go to Stripe and never to us. What we hold is what you have given us on purpose, plus what your own browser needs in order to keep a shopping bag working.
Who is responsible
The controller of your information is JaydenART Inc., 9350 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 203, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, United States, trading as Da Wang HiHi®. Write to info@dawanghihi.com for anything in this policy. Where the law requires us to name a representative in the European Union or the United Kingdom, their details will be listed here once appointed.
What your browser keeps
Two different things are kept on your own device, and they are not the same thing.
Tu bolso. When you put something in your bag, our shop software sets cookies so the bag survives a refresh and a new page. These are the woocommerce_items_in_cart and woocommerce_cart_hash cookies and a session cookie that goes with them. They hold no name, no address and nothing that identifies you. They are strictly necessary for the shop to work, so they are set without asking. When you sign in, a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in; it is also necessary.
Your preferences. The currency you pick and the light or dark appearance you choose are kept in your browser’s own storage under hihi-currency and hihi-theme. These never leave your device and are never sent to us. Your answer to the cookie notice is kept the same way under hihi-consent, so that we do not have to ask again on every page. If you choose Necessary only, your currency and appearance are kept for that visit and are gone when you close the tab. Your language is not stored at all; it is part of the web address.
Stripe, on checkout only. Stripe sets its own cookies (__stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) on the checkout page to detect fraud on the payment. They are necessary for paying by card and are set by Stripe under Stripe’s privacy policy.
What you give us
Your account. If you become a member we store the username, email address and password you chose (the password is stored hashed, never as typed), the bio and photo you add, your links, and the settings you pick. Your member page, handle, bio, wall photos, badges and the pieces you choose to show are public; that is what a member page is for.
Confirming who you are. To confirm your email we send a six-digit code to it and keep a hashed copy for fifteen minutes. If you choose to confirm your phone, the number you enter is sent to Prelude, which delivers the code by text message and tells us whether it matched; we keep the number so the red seal can stay on your name. If you turn on two-step sign-in, we keep the authenticator secret and hashed backup codes that make it work. Failed sign-in attempts are counted for fifteen minutes to slow down password guessing.
Coins. We keep a ledger of coins earned and spent so your balance is right.
The newsletter. If you sign up, we store the email address you typed, and nothing else. You can ask to be taken off the list at any time by writing to info@dawanghihi.com, and we will remove the address rather than mark it inactive.
Contact, feedback and support. When you use the contact form or open a support ticket we receive what you wrote, the subject and the email address you gave. We keep that correspondence for as long as it is useful for answering you and for our own records of what people have raised.
Órdenes. If you place an order we collect what you have bought and the name, delivery address, billing address and contact details needed to make it, get it to you and handle a return. Card payments are handled by Stripe; full card numbers are not sent to us and we do not store them.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use order, account and delivery information to carry out the contract you have with us. We keep order records and tax data because the law requires it. We run sign-in security, fraud checks and server logs because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site and its members safe, and that interest does not override yours. The newsletter, phone confirmation, optional cookies and the public parts of your profile run on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
What our server records
Like every website, ours sits on a server that keeps ordinary access logs: the address your request came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser’s own description of itself. These exist so the site can be kept running and secure. They are not used to build a picture of you and they are not combined with anything else.
Who helps us
We keep the number of hands your information passes through as small as we can. Our hosting provider runs the servers. Stripe takes the payment. Our production partner receives what you ordered and the delivery name, address and contact details, in order to make and ship the piece; the carrier receives the delivery details. Prelude receives your phone number only if you choose to confirm it. If you give us your birthday, we use it to send a birthday gift and a note on the day, and to apply the age rule for circles; you can remove it in Settings at any time. Page text is sent to Google’s translation service so the site can be read in other languages; nothing about you is sent with it. The email service that carries our messages sees the messages it carries. Each of these processes your information in order to do that job and for no other purpose. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, for any reason.
Where it travels
We are a United States company and our providers operate servers in the United States and elsewhere. If you are in the European Union, Northern Ireland or the United Kingdom, your information leaves that area when you order or write to us. It is protected by the standard contractual clauses approved for such transfers, the UK’s equivalent addendum, and, where a provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, by that certification.
How long we keep things
Account information is kept while your account exists and deleted when you close it, except what an order record must keep. Order records are kept for seven years because tax and consumer law require it. Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them. Verification codes last fifteen minutes. Contact messages and tickets are kept while they are useful and then deleted. Server logs are kept only as long as they are needed to run and secure the site.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it in a usable format, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and object to any use based on our legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before. Write to info@dawanghihi.com. We will not charge you for asking, we answer within one month, and we will not treat you differently for having asked.
If you are in the European Union, Northern Ireland or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live. If you are in California, you have the rights in the California Consumer Privacy Act; because we do not sell or share personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to switch off, and we honour the signal regardless. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
You can change your cookie answer at any time using Manage cookies at the bottom of any page. You can clear the preferences your browser holds by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings.
Children
This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If what we do with information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. We will not quietly widen what we collect and leave the old wording in place.
